Travel Tips for a Safer (and Happier) Holiday Season

1. If you plan to travel out of town or country, call us at 1-800-622-3631 to let us know and we will note your account. We monitor accounts for fraudulent activity and may suspend an account if we suspect criminal activity.
2. Leave non-essential cards at home, such as social security or debit cards you do not plan to use.
3. Choose ATMs wisely – look for ATMs located at a credit union branch. Stand-alone ATMs are more susceptible to card-skimming due to lack of security.
4. Be careful when using free or public Wi-Fi networks which are susceptible to hackers. Do not access sensitive information such as your online banking account using unsecured networks.
