Federal Stimulus Funds
Apr 14, 2020
On Friday, April 10, 2020 the IRS issued 75 million in economic impact payments through direct deposit to qualified Americans. Some of our members have already received their stimulus payment. Login to your account to see if your stimulus funds have been received. All ACH deposits are posted as soon as they are received.
Payments are based on 2018 and 2019 tax filings, check the account that you have registered with the IRS to verify your information is correct. Individuals who did not file for electronic returns for 2018 or 2019 filings will not receive direct deposit payments via ACH. Instead, these qualified individuals will receive payment by check in the mail in the coming weeks.
When will I get my stimulus funds?
The first round of stimulus checks were released to our members on Monday, April 13th. If you did not receive your check on the 13th, we are not informed on where your stimulus check is, and when you will receive it. Due to the nature of the federal government, we will not know the status of your check until we receive it.
Do not give anyone your personal information to “sign-up” for your relief check. Anyone calling to ask for your personal information, like your Social Security number, PayPal account, or bank information is a scammer, plain and simple. Also be on the lookout for email phishing scams, where scammers pretend to be from the government and ask for your information as part of the “sign-up” process for the checks. There is no early access to this money. The timeline for this process is not exact, but distribution of funds has already began. No one should be contacting you through an email, social media posts, text messages or phone calls
