our field of membership

Navy Army Community Credit Union has a "community" field of membership. This means that all people who live, work, worship and/or go to school in the following counties* are eligible for membership:
  • Aransas
  • Bee
  • Cameron
  • Hidalgo
  • Jim Wells
  • Kleberg
  • Nueces
  • San Patricio

there are three convenient ways to establish membership

  1. apply online
    Open your new account online at the convenience of your home. When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you.

  2. visit any branch
    Visit with a Member Service Representative at any of our 10+ branch locations. They will make opening a NavyArmy account an easy, pleasant experience. Please bring with you:
    • A driver's license or valid photo I.D.
    • document showing your social security number such as Social Security Card or a payroll stub
    • Cash or check for at least $40.00 payable to NavyArmy, or $60.00 if you are opening both a Savings and a Checking Account. This includes a $15.00 one-time membership fee.
      A savings account with a balance of at least $25.00 must be maintained in order to remain a member of NavyArmy.

  3. give us a call
    If you don't have the time to come into a branch, you can give one of our Member Service Representatives a call at 361-986-4500 or 800-622-3631. We will mail everything you need to open a NavyArmy account, even a postage-paid return envelope.
