Navy Army Community Credit Union’s board of directors has donated eight palettes of water to the Food Bank where it will be distributed as needed to the community. “The Food Bank is working to meet the needs of seniors and those in need,” said Bea Hansen, Food Bank of Corpus Christi Executive Director. “This water will make a big difference for many needy Corpus Christi area residents.”
“This donation to the Food Bank is just one way to say ‘Thank you’ to the members of our community” said Don Rymer, Board Director. Rymer, who has served on the NavyArmy Board for over 19 years, arranged for the shipment from Laredo. “On behalf of all of the Directors, we are just glad that we could help in this time of need,” said Rymer.
NavyArmy is over $2 billion in assets and serves over 141,000 members in South Texas and Rio Grande Valley.
